In addition, ALL applicants will need to submit passing scores for the Oregon state required ORELA multiple subject exam. Subtests I & II are required for licensure. Passing scores must be submitted before student teaching begins.

Effective September 1, 2009, TSPC requires the Protecting Student and Civil Rights in the Educational Environment test for licensure. This test needs to be passed before Concordia can recommend you for licensure, which happens upon successful completion of the program.

The Praxis II is required for applicants seeking a Middle Level and/or High School authorization level(s). Choose from endorsements in art, biology, business, chemistry, drama, health, integrated science, early childhood, language arts, marketing, mathematics (basic or advanced), music, physical education, physics, social studies, Spanish, or speech.

It is recommended that applicants complete the ORELA and/or Praxis II tests prior to the first day of class.
